2003 Program Vice Chiefs

In addition to the national officers, section chiefs at the National Planning Meeting elected Program Vice Chiefs (PVCs) to lead the national programs of emphasis for 2003. The following PVCs have been elected to provide leadership to these programs:

Lodge Leadership Development

Ed Clifford

From the Unami Lodge of the Cradle of Liberty Council, Clifford is section chief of NE-4A. Last year, Clifford served as NOAC Conference Vice Chief for Leadership Development. He will provide leadership to the re-write of the acclaimed Lodge Leadership Development program provided by the national Order of the Arrow. "I am excited about LLD because it will revolutionize the way lodges conduct training."

Sam Stocker

Section chief of C-2A, Stocker is an Eagle Scout and Vigil Honor member from the Migisi Opawgan Lodge of the Detroit Area Council. With the Philbreak committee, he will be providing leadership over the March program of emphasis at Philmont. About Philbreak, Stocker noted, "This program is the most unique way to spend your spring break, proving meaningful service to the most beautiful place on earth."

American Indian Activities

Christopher Willis

Willis is a Vigil Honor member and Eagle Scout from the Menawngihella Lodge of the Mountaineer Area Council. He is an assistant Scoutmaster in Troop 80. This committee is responsible for the American Indian dance and drum portion of the Indian Summer program. Willis is section chief of C-5A. Under his leadership, Willis is pledging that his committee "will provide the best and most in-depth American Indian training ever!"

Inductions and Ceremonial Events PVC - Bobby Johnson

Inductions and Ceremonial Events

Bobby Johnson

Section chief of C-6A, Johnson is from the Wah-Sha-She Lodge of the Ozark Trails Council. He is an Eagle Scout and Vigil Honor member. "Inductions and ceremonial events will focus on training related to the induction process and ceremonial performance development," noted Johnson.

Activities & Recreation Committee

Nick Williams

An Eagle Scout from Northeast Iowa Council and a Vigil Honor member of the Timmeu Lodge, Williams is enrolled at the University of Northern Iowa. He is section chief of C-3B. The committee he leads is responsible for providing athletic and recreational activities to Arrowmen at Indian Summer. Nick asserts that this is "everything you want to be doing!"

Support Services

Brian Love

Currently attending Corning Community College, Love is an Eagle Scout and Vigil Honor member of the Five Rivers Council and the TKaen DoD Lodge. He is section chief of NE-3A. Support Services is tasked with conducting nightly gatherings, staffing the trading post, coordinating with the service lodge, and overseeing the Web and newsletter at Indian Summer. Brian noted, "our committee is very enthusiastic about Indian Summer and is looking forward to the orchestrated chance to make the program great."
